West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited will conduct a computer-based test for the 198 vacancies of Assistant Manager, Assistant Engineer, Junior Executive, Junior Engineer, Office Executive and others mentioned in the notification number REC/2023/01.
The candidates who fulfil all the eligibility criteria submitted the online applications form from 26 April to 19 May 2023. Now they are waiting for the examination date to be announced and the admit cards for the first phase of the recruitment process. WBSETCL will release WBSETCL Admit Cards for the examination on its official website i.e. www.wbsetcl.in.

The examination date for the computer-based test will be announced on the official portal of the WBSETCL. The applicants will be able to grab their Hall Ticket by providing their login details.
WBSETCL Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will be done based on their performance in both phases i.e. Online Computer-Based Test and Personal Interview which will be held in Kolkata and may be in other cities of West Bengal. This will also be followed by a medical examination and then a final merit list will be prepared for the final selected candidates. As a large number of candidates have applied for the recruitment, the Exam will be conducted in various shifts and a normalisation formula will be used to prepare the final merit list.
WBSETCL Exam Pattern
The computer-based test will be of 90 minutes including questions from the different topics. The same exam will be scheduled for all of the given posts except for Office Executive. The exam will include 100 questions of 1 mark each. There will be no negative marking in the exam.
