West Bengal Public Service Commission has issued the notification for West Bengal Civil Services (Executive) examination in February 2023. Through this notification, the officials have invited online applications for various posts. The registration process is over on the 21st of March. West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) is likely to organize WBCS Prelims Exam in June 2023, however, the accurate dates have not been yet revealed. The candidate must download and take a printout of the Admit Card. No hard copy of the WBCS Admit Card will be shared by the board. The candidates must check all the details given on the Prelims Call Letter, for example, their name, age, class, enrolment number, and more.
The WBCS Selection Process consists of two Written Examinations (preliminary exam + mains exam) and interviews. The written examination will be held in two parts, (i) WBCS Preliminary Exam (Objective Multiple Choice MCQs type) and (ii) WBCS Main Exam (Both Objective Type and Conventional Type). The candidates have to qualify in each level to get shortlisted for the West Bengal Civil Services positions.
The prelims examination is basically a screening examination for selecting candidates for the main exam. There will be 200 MCQ questions for 200 marks in this examination. 2 hours of time duration will be given to complete this examination.
