The West Bengal Board of Primary Education also known as WBBPE is about to conduct the WB Primary TET examination. This examination is organised to check the eligibility of candidates willing to teach students from Class 1-5. The examination board released the WB TET Admit Card for those candidates who have submitted a valid online application form.
The exam authority has released the examination schedule for the West Bengal Primary Teachers Eligibility Test. The board will call candidates to appear for the written examination on 11 December 2022. Applicants have got the West Bengal TET Call Letter 12 days before the exam date.
The NCTE has made it mandatory for all state education boards to conduct a teacher eligibility test before releasing a notification for teacher recruitment. All those candidates who will pass the TET examinations will be eligible to apply for the notified vacancies. So, for the same reason, the WBBPE is organising this examination.

After taking the examination of candidates and checking their eligibility to teach the students, the commission will then release a notification to accept applications for Assistant Teachers. All those candidates who have passed the WB TET will be eligible to submit online applications for these vacancies.
WB TET Primary TET Paper Pattern
The candidates who are going to appear for the West Bengal Primary or Level 1 examination, should have a detailed paper pattern. The candidates will have to appear for an examination of 150 marks. The candidates will also find 150 questions in the test. Applicants will get 03 hours to attempt the full questions paper. The examination will be conducted offline on OMR Sheets and there will be one mark for each correct answer.
