WB SET Result 2022 Announced Now @www.wbcsc.org.in – West Bengal College Service Commission conducted the 23rd State Eligibility Test on 09 January 2022 for the post of Assistant Professor in various colleges of the state. After two months of the waiting period, the commission has declared the WB SET 2021 Result.

Every year, the WB College Service Commission conducts the State Eligibility Test to check the eligibility of the candidates. After checking the proficiency of the candidates in various stages after the written examination, the candidates are appointed to the posts of Assistant Professor in various colleges of the state.
The WB SET has been conducted for a total of 33 subjects. The submission of online applications commenced from 16 August to 15 September 2021. Thereafter, the commission has organized the competitive exam on 09 January 2022. WB SET Paper 1 was held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM while Paper 2 timings were 12:00 Noon to 02:00 PM.

WB SET 2022 – Expected Cut Off Marks
In order to be considered for ‘Eligibility for Assistant Professor’, the candidate must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for General (Unreserved) category/EWS candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for all candidates belonging to the reserved categories [viz., SC, ST, OBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer)/PWD] and Transgender.

Validity of WB SET Certificate
The WB SET certificate 2022 will be issued to all the candidates who are eligible for the post of Assistant Professor in West Bengal. All the students who qualify for the exam can now download their certificates. WB SET e-certificate is valid for a lifetime. Candidates who qualify for WBSET are not required to appear in WBSET Exam again.
