The West Bengal College Service Commission has concluded the State Eligibility Test at various examination centres across the state. The test was scheduled to be organised on 8 January 2023. Applicants appeared in huge numbers at all exam centres. Candidates were now waiting for the release of the WB SET Result by the exam authority.
WB SET 2022 Result has been declared on 28th February 2023 and the direct link to check the same has been added below. All those candidates who want to pursue their careers as Assistant Professors in West Bengal took part in this examination. This was the 24th West Bengal State Eligibility Test conducted by the WBCSC. Applications for the same were accepted in August 2022. There were two papers in this examination.

The written examination was conducted for a total of 300 marks. Now candidates have to score as many as marks out of 300 to be eligible to pass the State Eligibility Test, West Bengal. There were a large number of candidates in the examination so it implies that the cut-off marks of the test will be high.
As per the examination notice, Unreserved / EWS Categories candidates will have to attain at least 40% marks in the examination to pass the test. On the other hand, candidates who belong to the SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PWD/Transgender Categories will have to score at least 35% marks.
After the conduction of the written examination, the board move to evaluate the answer sheets of the candidates. Then it prepares a list of all those candidates who have scored enough marks to pass the written examination. It compiles the names of those aspirants in a list known as WB SET Merit List. It will be released along with the examination result by the authority.

- Visit that section and find the West Bengal 24th SET Exam Result link.
- Go to that link and submit the details of the candidate.
- Now the status of the result of the applicant will appear on your screen.
- Check your result status.
- Applicants may also take out a print of the exam outcome.
