The Board of Secondary Education, Uttarakhand has issued the Teacher Eligibility Test Notification for the year 2023. The notification has published on 30 June 2023. This year the Education Board is going to conduct the UTET Examination for Primary and Upper Primary Teachers only.
Candidates who have the desire to pursue a career in Teaching can submit their application for UTET as it is an Eligibility Test for Teachers. The process of registration for UTET will be done online through the official website of Uttarakhand TET. The process of submitting the application form for UTET 2023 starts on 30 June and will be completed by 28 July 2023.

The Board of Secondary Education Uttarakhand is responsible for the conduction of the UTET Examination. Every year the board will conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test for Primary Teachers, Upper Primary Teachers and Secondary Teachers respectively. This year there will be two papers in UTET; Paper-I & Paper-II.
UTET Educational Qualification
For Primary Teachers: The applicants must have completed 12th Class or Graduation with B.T.C/ D.El.Ed/ D.Ed/ B.El.Ed.
For Upper Primary Teacher: The candidates must have done Graduation with D.Ed/ B.Ed, B.El.Ed/ L.T./ Shiksha Shastri.

UTET Qualification Procedure
The qualification of candidates for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test will be decided by the written examination. The examination will be conducted for 150 marks and the applicants have to score minimum Cut Off Marks to get the qualified certificate.
