Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued the recruitment notification for Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination on 3rd March 2023. Through this notification, the Public Service Commission has invited applications from eligible candidates for various posts.

Through the recruitment Advt. No. A-1/E-1/2023, the Public Service Commission is going to fill up the 173 vacant positions for Assistant Labour Commissioner, Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade II), Sub Registrar, Tax Assessment Officier, Technical Assistant (Geology), Law Officer, and Technical Assistant (Geophysics).

The candidates must have completed their Graduation Degree to apply for the UPPSC PCS Recruitment. Post-wise educational qualifications may differ for each post which is given here-

Assistant Labour Commissioner	The applicants must have done their Post Graduate in Economics/ Sociology/ Commerce/ Law/ Labour relations/ Trade Management/ Social Work/ Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management.
Sub Registrar	Graduation Degree in Law.
Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade-II)	Degree in Science with Physics or Mechanical Engineering as one of the subjects from any recognized Institution or University. Working Knowledge of Hindi Written in Devanagari Script.
Tax Assessment Officer	Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Economics with 55% marks.
Technical Assistant (Geology)	Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in Geology or Applied Geology or Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad. Candidates with research experience or field training conducted by the Geological Survey of India will be preferred first.
Law Officer	The applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law form an established University. Candidates must have registration in the concerned Bar Council or affiliated Bar Association and two years practice experience certificate issued by Bar Council or Bar Association.
Technical Assistant (Geophysics)	The candidates must have done the Post Graduate Degree with at least 50% marks in Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geology or Applied Geology from any established University.

To apply for UPPSC PCS Recruitment the minimum age of candidates is not less than 21 years and not more than 40 years as on 1 July 2023.

• 5 years of age relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates and classified games players, and state govt employees will be applicable.
• 15 years of age relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable for Persons with Disabilities of UP.
• 3 years of relaxation will be applicable for Army personnel of UP.
