The University Grant Commission conducts the National Eligibility Test every year for interested candidates. This year the UGC has organised NET from July to October 2022. Now participants are waiting for the publication of the UGC NET Result by the examination authorities. The candidates will be able to check their Scorecards and Cut Off marks from the official website of the commission.

As per the latest updates, the UGC NET Result is expected to be uploaded on the official website by the evening of November 02. Candidates will need their online application details in order to retrieve the details of exam results from official sources. Candidates should take out a printout of their scorecard, as they will need it in the future on various occasions. Also, keep a soft copy of the document for the safer side.

The main objective of the National Eligibility Test is to check the suitability of candidates for the jobs of Assistant Professor and for Junior Research Fellowship. There are two Papers in the written test of 200 marks from which candidates have to solve as many questions as they can.

UGC NET Minimum Qualifying Marks

The commission has completed the written examination for both Paper I and Paper II. Now candidates will be chosen on the basis of their aggregate performance in both papers. Minimum Qualifying Marks for the UGC NET are given below which every candidate has to score in order to be eligible for the JRF and Assistant Professor positions.

Steps to check the UGC NET Result 2022

  1. Visit the official website of the NTA at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Then on the homepage of the website candidates will find a link for the “NET Result 2022”.
  3. After that, the website will ask candidates to enter their online application number and password.
  4. Then submit those details and a new webpage will get opened.
  5. Now the candidates will be able to download their exam outcomes.
  6. Download and takeout a print of the result.
