From 10:30 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon, the exam was administered in each of Telangana’s 33 districts. There were 3,80,081 people who applied the application form, and 3,42,954 people downloaded the admit cards; however, only 2,86,051 persons (75 per cent) showed up. Biometric details of candidates, who appeared for the exam, were collected and will be used for scrutiny and verification of candidate identity at the latter stages of recruitment. The preliminary key is released after displaying the scanned copies of OMR answer sheets on www.tspsc.gov.in. The process of scanning is completed within 7-8 working days.

TSPSC Group 1 Question Paper shall affect the cut off marks

In the merged state of Andhra Pradesh in 2011, the final Group-I examination was held with the purpose of filling 312 positions. The level of difficulty of the question paper was significantly higher than that of the papers that were administered in the combined state.

TSPSC Group 1 Cut-Off Marks for Mains Exam

TSPSC has announced that 50 candidates will be selected for the main exams for each post. A total of 25,150 candidates from across the state will be eligible for the mains for the 503 Group-I posts to be filled up. With this, only those who have scored more marks will get a chance for the mains. TSPSC will also select candidates on the basis of merit in multi-zone, rule of reservation, gender, EWS, disabled and sports categories.

Experts say that as the competition is high and the TSPSC Group 1 cutoff determination is also zone-wise, the candidates need to practice harder. The commission has already made it clear that the prelims marks will be considered only till the selection of the mains and will not be considered in the final ranking.
