The Telangana School Education Department has issued a recruitment notification no. 1479/SS/T9/KGBV/URS/2022 on its official website. The recruitment notification has published on 16 June 2023. Through this notification, the department is going to fill up the vacant posts of Teaching Staff in KGBV & URS.
Through this recruitment drive, the department has invited online applications for 1241 vacancies of Special Officers (SOs), Post Graduate Contract Resident Teachers (PGCRTs), Contract Resident Teachers (CRTs), and Physical Education Teachers (PETs). Out of these vacancies 1218 posts are reserved for Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) and the rest 23 posts are for Special Officers (SOs) & Contract Resident Teachers (CRTs) in Urban Residential Schools (URSs).

TS Teacher Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
- Only Female candidates are eligible for the posts of Special Officers, CRTs, PETs and PGCRTs in KGBVs.
- Candidates of all genders are eligible for the posts of Special Officers and CRTs in URSs.
- Physically disabled candidates are not eligible for the Physical Teacher post.
