Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is all set to conduct the Combined Engineering Subordinate Services Examination(CESSE). The test will be conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of Overseer / Junior Droughting Officer in the Rural & Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Junior Droughting Officer in the Highways Department, Junior Droughting Officer in Public Works Department, Draughtsman, Grade – 3 in Town and Country Planning Department, Foreman, Grade-II in Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation Limited.
The recruitment authority is going to fill 1083 vacancies through this examination. The process of online application submission for the given posts closed on 4th March 2023. Thousands of candidates have applied for this exam. The candidates who have successfully submitted their applications are now waiting for the admit card to be released. The exam will be conducted on 27th May 2023, the admit cards will be released on the official website soon.

TNPSC CESSE Selection Procedure
The selection process for TNPSC CESSE for various posts will be common as shared below. TNPSC CESSE Exam Scheme
The written examination contains two sets of papers Paper 1 & Paper 2 which will be conducted in two shifts morning (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and evening shift (2 PM to 5 PM). Paper 1 will be conducted in the morning shift and it is an objective paper. The questions will be from the relevant subject that the candidate has chosen. Paper 2 consists of two parts which are Part A and Part B. Part A is the Tamil eligibility test and Part B will consist of general studies.

How to apply for TNPSC CESSE Hall Ticket 2023
- Visit the official website at tnpsc.gov.in.
- Under the section “Hall ticket Download”.
- The notification link for the download of the CESSE Admit Card will be activated.
- Click on the link, the candidate will be requested to enter the enrollment number and password used at the time of registration for the examination.
- Once logged in, the candidate should verify the details mentioned on the admit card like exam center, date, time and shift of exam, etc.
- The candidate should take a printout of the admit card as it will be an entry ticket for the candidate in the examination hall.
