THDCL Eligibility Criteria for Engineer Trainee
THDC Engineer Trainee Vacancies eligibility criteria for each category are described below.
The candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2022 to apply for this recruitment.

| Engineer Trainee Electrical | Full-time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical/ Electrical(Power)/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power with a minimum of 65% marks. |
| Engineer Trainee Mechanical | The candidates must have done full-time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Mechanical/ Mechanical & Automation Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks. |
Note- The candidates must have completed the 10th & 12th classes with minimum 65% marks to apply for this recruitment. While for the SC, ST, PwBDs, and Departmental Candidates (THDCIL employees only) passing marks are required to be eligible for these vacancies.
The maximum age of candidates should not be more than 30 years. The age of candidates will be calculated on 05.04.2023. Age relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable for reserved categories.
THDCL Selection Process for Engineer Trainee
The process of selection for the post of Engineer Trainee will be done on the basis of the GATE 2022 score. In the first phase, the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their GATE exam score and then the shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview.
