Anna University on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu is on its way to conducting the Common Entrance Test (TANCET). The test for various Post Graduate Educational Programmes will be conducted on 25th & 26th March 2023. In compliance with the same, the university has released the TANCET Hall Ticket to the eligible candidates.
All the candidates should download the hall tickets from the Anna University website. It can be accessed by entering the application registration number. Candidates are required to produce TANCET Hall Ticket at the time of the Entrance Test and also at the time of admission.
The Anna University TANCET Hall Ticket will be issued once to the applicants. If the hall ticket is lost, a duplicate hall ticket can be obtained on payment of ₹100/- in the form of a Demand Draft, with a written request to The Secretary (TANCET), Anna University, Chennai.
Applications have been commenced for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test for postgraduate programmes. Applicants could submit an application form from 01 February to 22 February 2023. It is a state-level examination organised by Anna University, Chennai. The test is conducted for admission in M.Tech, ME, MBA, MCA, M.Arch & M.Plan courses. The admission will be offered by various colleges in Tamil Nadu state.

TANCET Examination Scheme – Paper Pattern
- The exam will be conducted in offline mode i.e. pen-paper based.
- The questions will be objective type in nature.
- One mark will be given for each correct answer.
- There is a negative marking of 1/3 for each incorrect answer.
- The duration of the competitive examination will be 2 hours.

On TANCET Hall Ticket, there will be essential details including the candidate’s name, application number, date of birth, category, photograph etc. Apart from this, information related to the examination such as the name of the examination centre, address, time and date of the examination, etc. will be mentioned on the admit card.
