The Staff Selection Commission has decided to organise a written examination for the eligible candidates for the Scientific Assistant vacancy. Applicants will need SSC SA Admit Card to appear in the test and they will also find the exam schedule and address of the exam venue mentioned on it.
Candidates are expecting that the organisation will conduct the examination in December 2022. The applicants will get the admit card download link from the officials at least one or two weeks prior to the exam date. The candidates will need their application number and password to access the document.
The commission is aiming to select 990 candidates for the Scientific Assistant posts after the successful completion of the selection process. There will be no other way to get selected as a Scientific Assistant other than the selection process defined by the commission. We will post all the latest posts about the exam on this webpage.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination and document verification process. The candidates will be called to appear in the written test if they have submitted a complete and valid online application form. Applicants are advised to carry all required documents with them to the exam centre.
SSC SA Selection Process & Paper Pattern
- The examination will be of 200 marks.
- There will be two papers in the examination.
- So candidates will get two papers of 100 marks each.
- There will be 01 mark for each correct answer.
- Candidates will negative marking of .25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- All questions of the examination will be multiple choice type.
- The language of the examination will be Hindi & English. Except for the language questions.

- Then enter the name, registration number and application password.
- After that, the document will be shown to you.
- Now download it and print it.
