Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Scientific Assistant exam result will recruit the Group-B employees posted on the Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial post. The recruitment authority, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has recently conducted an exam to fill 990 posts of Scientific Assistant.
The notification was released on 30th October 2022 and the application submission process was completed between 30 September 2022 to 18th October 2022. Now the exam has been carried out so all the examinees are looking for SSC IMD Result. Applicants will be able to check the same using the exam roll number and birthdate.
The examination was conducted from 14th December 2022 till 16th December 2022, candidates are now keenly waiting for the result declaration. The expected timeline is the last week of January 2023 or the first week of February 2023. The exam was conducted in online mode. The marks scored by candidates will help them appear on the merit list.

SSC IMD Exam Cut-Off Marks
The cut-off marks of any examination depend on multiple factors like the number of students appearing for the exam, number of vacancies, questions difficulty level, exam pattern, level of examination, the correctness of the answer, etc.
The previous cut-off gives a rough idea however it has nothing to do with the present year’s cut-off marks. The notification for IMD cut-off marks is yet to be released. The information related to relaxation for reserved categories in cut-off marks will be shared in the official notification only.
SSC Scientific Assistant Exam Merit List
The merit list is prepared on basis of marks scored by the candidate and the cut-off set by the recruiting agency. If the candidate is able to clear the cut-off their name appears in the merit list and will be eligible for the second round. The merit list will also be published soon on the official website.

- Click on the “SSC IMD Result” link.
- The login page will be presented.
- Login using the enrollment number/application number.
- The result or marks scored will be displayed.
- Download or take a printout of the result/marks scored.
- Validate it with the Cut-Off Marks sheet shared on the official website.
- If you will be selected, your name will appear in the merit list as well.
- In case of any discrepancy raise the issue with the examination authority.
