Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET- Paper–II) conducted by the CBSE New Delhi in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE is compulsory. Graduate from a recognised University with relevant subjects/Elective subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Degree of Bachelor of Education, 4 years integrated B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. or an equivalent course with relevant subjects or an equivalent course recognised by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
The age limit for candidates should be between 21 and 37 years as of January 1, 2022. In accordance with the guidelines provided by the Government of India and the Chandigarh Administration, candidates from the Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, and Other Categories would be eligible for relaxation.
