Actress and BJP leader Sonali Phogat suffered a heart attack yesterday evening in Goa and passed away. She had travelled to Goa with some of her staff members when they were there.
During the most recent assembly election, she ran as a candidate for the BJP in the Adampur Assembly constituency and faced off against Kuldeep Bishnoi.
Kuldeep Bishnoi went to visit her at her home the week prior to the forthcoming byelection, despite the fact that she was claiming that she is also a claimant for the BJP ticket from Adampur in the approaching byelection. The development has not been confirmed by the local authorities as of yet.
