Assam Jail Warder Selection Process
The selection process for SLPRB Assam candidates is as mentioned below:
- Physical Efficiency Test: The physical efficiency test will be of 40 marks, and it will contain two events:
- 1600-meter race for male candidates and 800-meter race for female candidates.
- Long Jump- Minimum of 335 cm for male candidates & 244 cm for female candidates. A total of 3 chances will be given for the said test.
- Written Test: Those candidates who qualify for PET will be called for the written test. A total of 5 times the number of vacancies allotted for each category will be called for written test. There will be a total of 100 questions and will be of 50 marks.
- NCC: Maximum marks – 5 marks
- NCC C certificate – 5 marks
- NCC B certificate -3 marks
- NCC A certificate – 2 marks
- Oral/Viva Voce: A total of 2 times the vacancies allotted will be called for the viva voce test.
