South East Central Railway Recruitment Board has published a notification for Trade Apprentice posts. The notification is published in May 2023. The SECR has invited online applications for 548 vacant positions of Carpenter, COPA, Draftsman (Civil), Electrician, Fitter, Plumber, Mechanic, Welder, Digital Photographer, and other posts.
The process of registration for these posts will be done in online mode through the official website of SECR. The registration process for the same started on 03 May and the interested candidates can submit their application before the last date of registration which is 03 June 2023.

- The candidates must have done their 10th class under the 10+2 pattern or its equivalents.
- The applicants must have completed ITI Diploma in the respective trades.
The minimum and maximum age of registration should be between 15 years to 24 years as on 01 July 2023. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable for this recruitment.
South East Central Railway Selection Process
The selection of candidates for the mentioned posts will be done on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the 10th class and the ITI diploma. The candidates must have to fill up their 10th & ITI marks in the application form otherwise the application will be rejected by the officials. In the final merit list, equal marks for both the 10th class and ITI Diploma will be calculated. Then the shortlisted candidates will be called for the Medical Test.
