Indian Republic Day is a national holiday in India celebrated on January 26th every year to celebrate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. In 1950 on 26th January the Constitution of India came into effect, as per the Indian Constitution making India a republic country. The grand festival is held in the national capital of India, New Delhi.
The President of India unfolds the National Flag and the national anthem is played. A grand military parade is held which is attended by celebs from all over the world, along with the natives. The parade starts from the Rashtrapati Bhavan and moves towards the India Gate. It is an exhibition of India’s cultural and military heritage.
