The Odisha Staff Selection Commission successfully conducted phase one of the examination for Welfare Extension Officer in December 2022. This test was conducted from 17th December to 23rd December 2022 as an online objective examination. The selection process has four stages (Prelims, Mains, Interview, and Career Assessment).

The candidates selected for Welfare Extension Officer will be appointed under the Director of the Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department of the Government of Odisha. Examination officials will be sharing Cut -Off marks for the exam, on basis of which the Merit List will be prepared. Cut-Off marks for the examination are decided on the basis of multiple factors.
