Odisha High Court recruitment board has released two recruitment notifications for 234 vacant posts of Assistant Section Officer and Junior Stenographer under the Recruitment Advertisement No. 01 of 2023 & Advertisement No. 02 of 2023 in the Group B & C category. The application process for the same has started on 1st March 2023.

Through the OHC Recruitment Advt. No. 01 of 2023 the officials have invited applications for 199 vacancies, and under the Recruitment Advt. No. 02 of 2023 the department is going to fill up the 35 vacant positions of Junior Stenographer posts. Educational Qualification

Assistant Section Officer – Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised Institution or University or such other equivalent qualification. The applicants must have basic knowledge of Computer Applications.

Junior Stenographer – The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and must have a speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typewriting with a basic knowledge of Computer Applications.

Age Limit
  • To apply for these posts, the candidate’s age should be between 21 to 32 Years as on 1st August 2023.

Age relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, SEBC & Women and 10 years for PwDs candidates will be applicable.

Pay Scale
  • Pay Scale for ASO: Rs. 35400 -112400/-
  • Pay Scale for Jr. Stenographer: Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/- in Level 7 of Pay Matrix

The process of selection for OHC ASO Vacancies will be done by Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Computer Application Test, and Viva-voce Test respectively. The qualified candidates in all selection phases are selected for the above-mentioned vacancies.
