Maharashtra State Excise Department is going to hire eligible candidates for various posts of Stenographer, Jawan, Chaparashi, and others. The Excise Department of Maharashtra released the recruitment notification for these posts in May 2023 and invited online applications for 512 vacancies.

Jawan cum Driver: The candidates should have completed their 07th Class and also have a valid driving license.
All Other Posts: The applicants must have passed the 10th Class examination.
For the post of Stenographer: the candidates should have a shorthand typing speed of 100 words per minute, an English Language typing speed of 40 w.p.m., and a Marathi Language typing speed of 30 words per minute.
For Stenotypist: The applicants must have a shorthand speed of 80 W.P.M. while the language typing speed is the same as a stenographer.
The age of candidates should be between 18 years to 40 years as on 01 January 2023. Age relaxation in the upper age limit is also applicable for reserved categories.
