The State Level Police Recruitment Board, Rehabari, Guwahati, issued a recruitment drive for Constable (UB) and Constable (AB) posts in Assam Police under the Government of Assam. This Assam Police Constable Recruitment was advertised in 2021. SLPRB advertised 6,662 posts in the Unarmed Branch (UB) and Armed Branch (AB) of the state police department.

However, there is an upper age relaxation of 5 Years for SC/ST Candidates, while 3 years is relaxed for OBC/MOBC Candidates.

Candidate must be Class 10 (HSLC) pass for Constable Armed Branch posts while he must be Class 12th (Higher Secondary) Pass for Un-Armed Branch Police Constable. Regarding the selection process, the candidate must go through the Document Verification, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Medical Test, and Written Examination to ensure a place on the merit list.

A particular portal www.constablerecruitment.com was created to upload the written test call letter and the exam schedule for Constable UB and Constable AB Posts. Canadidates could log in to the official website using their Phone Number, Email ID, or application ID to access the Assam Police Admit Card to appear for the written exam. If they faced a problem while logging in, a phone number 8826762317(reachable from 10 AM to 5 PM) or Email support at helpdesk.admitcard@gmail.com was provided by the State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam.

Those candidates who have applied twice or separately for AB and UB constable got admit cards against any one post only. Their post preference was updated at the test centre.
