They had also extended the last date for online registration for admission to Class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas for the academic Year 2023-24 up to 17th April 2023. So, if anyone couldn’t submit the application form earlier, they gave another chance for online registration.

The officials of KVS have released the provisional merit list of selected candidates for admission to Class 1. The second and 3rd merit lists will be issued only if seats are available after releasing the KV Class 1 First Admission List 2023. We will update this page as soon as the KVS releases the first, second, and third list of selected students for admission in Class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission List 2023 for Class 1 Merit
Parents should be ready with the original documents as they have to present these documents to the selected KVS after the release of the Class 1 admission list. The first KVS Admission List for Class 1 has released on 20th April 2023.
If after that, seats remain vacant, then the second list will be released on 28th April 2023. If there are seats unfulfilled after the second list, then the third merit list may be released on 04th May 2023. Readers should check a few eligibility conditions which are mandatory to fulfil for Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 Admission:
Age Criteria for admission in Class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas
- Minimum Age on 31st March for the admission year: 6 Years+
- Maximum Age on 31st March for the year of admission: 8 Years
KVS Admission Class 1 Documents Required
After appearing the name of the student in the KVS Class 1 Admission List, parents should submit the following documents for admission to KVS:
- Birth Certificate
- Caste Certificate(for ST/SC/OBC-non creamy layer Students)
- Photo of the student
- Residence Proof
- Single Girl Child Affidavit(only for SGC Applicants)
- EWS or BPL Card(for candidates applying through RTE)
How to check the KVS Admission Merit List for Class 1?
As we have already informed you that the KVS officials have released the first admission list in the third week of April 2023 via online mode. This is the provisional list till the document verification is not done. Now, we are telling you the process to check the KVS Admission List for Class 1 for session 2023-24:
- Visit the official website of KVS for admission i.e. kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in
- Now, select the link to the KVS Admission List for Class 1 for session 2023-24.
- Open that link and a pdf file will open.
- Search the name of the student, date of birth, application number, or registration number in the pdf.
- You can find the name using the CTRL+F button and type the Name of Student, DOB, etc.
- You should also take a printout of this admission list.
