Download KVPY Fellowship Admit Card 2022: Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India has released the exam date & hall ticket for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana for the year 2022. The online exam will be taken at various exam centres across the country on 22 May 2022. For the same, the exam conducting authority has uploaded KVPY Admit Card 2022 to the students on the official website now.
The examination authority conducts the written examination every year under this scheme. For this, the department issues the KVPY 2022 Admit Card to the eligible students. Students can download their admit cards in online mode only from the official website.
The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India organizes this fellowship every year. This is a national-level programme. Students from class 11th to the first year of graduation can participate in the fellowship. It is mandatory for the applicant to be a student of a science-related subject in the relevant standard. Generous fellowships are provided up to the pre-Ph.D. level to the selected KVPY Fellows.

KVPY application registration held in July 2021. Eligible students were able to register till 06 September 2021. In completion with the selection process of eligible students, the authority is on its way to conducting an online examination on 22 May 2022. The KVPY Exam for the SA stream will be taken from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the SB/SX stream exam timings will be from 2:00 pm. to 5:00 pm.
KVPY Paper Pattern 2022
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) exam pattern includes the number of sections in each question paper and the marks allotted for each question. Here, we have listed down all the important points related to the KVPY paper pattern.
Exam Pattern for SA stream
- The examination for the SA stream includes subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
- The time of the examination is 3 hours.
- The online test is conducted in two parts. The number of questions in part 1 of all the subjects is 60 and part 2 will have 20 questions. It is mandatory to attempt all the questions in all the subjects.
- There will be a negative marking for each wrong answer.
- In part 1, each correct answer will be of 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- In part 2, every correct answer will be of 2 marks and 0.5 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- The total marks allotted for the question paper is 100 with a total of 25 marks for each subject.
Exam Pattern for SB/SX stream
- This examination includes questions on various subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
- The examination is conducted in 2 parts. Both parts consist of questions from all four subjects.
- The duration of the examination is 3 hours.
- The total mark allotted for the question paper is 100.
- Candidates must attempt 80 questions in total.
In part 1, candidates are required to attempt 20 questions in 3 sections i.e. (20 x 3 = 60) out of four sections. One mark is allotted for every correct answer and 0.25 marks are deducted for incorrect answers.
In part 2, students are required to attempt 2 sections i.e. (20 x 2 =40) out of four. Two marks will be rewarded for each correct answer and 0.5 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
KVPY Hall Ticket – Important Instructions
All the necessary details and exam related instructions will be written on the KVPY Call Letter. Candidates will also be able to check their roll number and exam centre on it. Along with this, the Covid-19 guidelines will also be mentioned on the admit card print. Students must carry their Aadhar Card at the exam centre.
