ICAR IARI Assistant Grade Exam Scheme

• There will be four sections in the ICAR Assistant Grade Exam.
• Each part will have 25 multiple-choice, objective questions.
• Every question carries two marks.
• The Prelims exam will have a maximum score of 200.
• For incorrect responses, a 1/3 mark deduction will apply.
• The Preliminary Exam will last for one hour.

• There will be two papers in the ICAR Assistant Mains Exam.
• Answers on Paper 1 will be of an objective nature.
• Paper 2 will feature descriptive style questions.
• For incorrect responses, there will be a 1/3 mark deduction.

Examinees who will pass the Preliminary and Main Exams must take the IARI Assistant Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test).

• Three modules of the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), including Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Slide Generation, will be administered.
• Since CPT is a qualifying stage, passing all three Modules will be required.
• Each module will last 15 minutes in total. All the mentioned modules shall be organized in a single day.
