The Intelligence Bureau is about to conduct a written examination for the selection of Security Assistant (Executive), and Multi-Tasking Staff (General). The commission will conduct the selection process for the selection of 1675 candidates for the above-said posts. The board has declared the exam date for these posts which will be scheduled for 23 & 24 March 2023.

The exam authority will release the IB SA MTS Admit Card on the official website of the commission. The applicants will be able to find a direct link to download the hall ticket on this webpage. The candidates may use their application number, password, or date of birth to download the document.

Intelligence Bureau SA, MTS Selection Process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance of candidates in the three Tiered selection process. The candidates will have to pass all tiers in order to be eligible for appointment as Security Assistant (Executive), and Multi-Tasking Staff (General) in Intelligence Bureau.

  • Tier-I Written Exam (Objective)
  • Tier-II Written Exam (Descriptive)
  • Tier-IIA Local Language Test (For SA Only)
  • Interview & Personality Test
Tier-I Written Exam (Objective)
  • The examination will be common for both posts.
  • The examination will be conducted online.
  • The candidates will get a 01 mark for each correct answer.
  • There will be five sections in the question paper.
  • Each section will consist of 20 questions.
  • A deduction of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer.
  • Participants will get 01 hour to solve the question paper.

  • This examination will be conducted offline.
  • The examination will be descriptive in nature.
  • The candidates will be given a passage of 500 words to translate from the local language to English.
  • This examination will be common for both posts.
  • Candidates will get 60 minutes to appear in this test.
Tier-IIA Local Language Test (For SA Only)

This examination will be conducted to check the spoken ability of candidates in the local language. Thie examination will be organised along with the Interview and personality test. This examination will be of 10 marks.

Steps to download the IB SA Admit Card

  1. Visit the official website of the MHA at www.mha.gov.in
  2. Then navigate to the “Careers” section of the website.
  3. Now you will find the SA and MTS Admit Card links.
  4. Open that link and you will be redirected to a new webpage.
  5. On this page, you will be asked to enter the details of the candidate.
  6. Submit those details by clicking the Download Admit Card button.
  7. After that download the document and print it after checking the details on it.
