HPSC HCS Admit Card 2023 released Check Haryana Public Service Commission Exam Pattern for Haryana Civil Service Examination (HCS), HCS Exam Date and Selection Process online at hpsc.gov.in website.
The Public Service Commission of Haryana is going to conduct the preliminary examination for Haryana Civil Services. HPSC HCS Preliminary Examination is scheduled for May 2023 for which the Haryana HCS Admit Card has been released on the official portal of HPSC.
The HPSC published a recruitment notification on 9th February for HCS Examination. Through this notification, the department is going to complete the recruitment process for 100 vacant posts in Haryana Civil Service. The registration process for the same started on 16th February and was completed by 17th March 2023.
After the registration process, the HPSC has released a notice regarding HCS Exam Date. As per this notification, HPSC HCS Preliminary Exam is to be held on 21st May 2023. HPSC HCS Admit Card for the prelim test is available 10 days before the examination.

HPSC HCS Selection Process
The selection of candidates for Haryana Civil Services will be done on the basis of three levels of selection. The qualified aspirants of all these selection phases will be selected for the respective vacancies.
- Preliminary Exam
- Main Exam
- Viva-Voice/ Personality Test
Preliminary Exam- It is the first phase of selection and will be conducted to shortlist the candidates for the next phase of selection. The marks of this test will not be counted in the final selection list.
Main Exam- After the preliminary exam, the shortlisted candidates will be called for the main exam. There will be four papers in the main exam and the medium of the exam is Hindi & English only.
Viva-Voce- It is the final phase of selection. Qualified candidates for the main exam will be selected for this test. The Personality Test carries a weightage of 75 marks.
HPSC HCS Exam Pattern
Haryana Civil Services Preliminary and Main Exam Pattern is given here-
- There will be two papers in the preliminary test.
- Each paper will be conducted for 100 marks only.
- There will be objective-type questions in both papers.
- The papers will be set in Hindi and English language.
- The duration of each exam will be 2 hours.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks as per the wrong answer.
- The candidates need to score a minimum of 33% marks to qualify the paper-II.

- Select this link and enter your login details i.e. user id and password.
