HP Board of School Education is going to conduct the HPTET examination in the month of June & July 2023. HP TET Notification for this examination is published on 04 May and the Board of School Education, Himachal Pradesh has invited the online application for TGT(Arts), TGT (Non-Medical), TGT (Medical), Shastri, Language Teacher, Punjabi & Urdu under HP TET.
The process of submitting an online application will be done through the official website of HPBOSE. The candidates can apply their application from 09 May 2023. The applicants can submit their application by 28 May without any late fee. The registration window will be open till 31st May with a late fee of Rs. 300/-.
As the registration window will close the Board will provide a chance to candidates to make corrections to their applications. The correction window will be opened from 01 June to 03 June 2023. The applicants can edit their filled application form in this interval of time.

HPTET is basically a Teacher Eligibility Test that is conducted to check the eligibility of candidates for teaching posts. Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is the conducting body of HPTET. Likewise every year, HPTET Notification for the year 2023 is issued by HPBOSE on its official website. This time the board is going to conduct the HPTET Exam for TGT(Arts), TGT (Non-Medical), TGT (Medical), Shastri, Language Teacher, Punjabi & Urdu Teachers.
HPTET Educational Qualification
- The candidates must have completed their 12th with 50% marks and 4 Years of Bachelor of Elementry Education/ B.Sc.(NM)Ed./B.Sc.(Medical)Ed. Or
- Graduation with 1 year Bachelor in Education.
- The applicants should have done Shastri with at least 50% marks from an established University.
- The candidates must have done Graduation with 1 year’s Bachelor’s in Education or 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
The candidates who will be qualified for HP TET Examination will be awarded an HPTET Certificate. The HPTET Certificate is valid for a lifetime. Although the candidates are free to participate in the HPTET examination again to improve their scores.
