The examination board, Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala has announced the Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test (HP PAT) 2023 on behalf of the State Government. Usually, the HP PAT examination details come out in April, the exam will be conducted in May.
The candidates who are looking for admission into 1st year Engineering, Architecture Assistantship Fashion and Design, Hotel Management, Catering Technology, and Fashion Designing Diploma courses at Government and private (UnAided) Polytechnics across the state for the academic year 2023-2024 must visit the official website regularly for any new update related to the entrance exam.

The candidate should visit the official website regularly for details related to the application registration date, and official notification related to the entrance exam. The exam date is released in the press note which is 21st May 2023, Sunday. The exam time will be 10 am to 1 pm. The application registration will open in March/April.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be an Indian.
The candidate must have passed class 10th with a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. The candidates who will be appearing in the 10th class exam can also apply, but their eligibility will be checked at the time of counseling.
The application fee details are shared below. The candidate must go through the official notification once it is released for further details. The mode of payment of the application fee is online Payment (Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card) as well as through Bank Challan / Demand Draft (DD).

- Under the section “Notice Board”.
- Click on the “PAT 2023 Application Form” link.
- The link will direct you to the registration portal.
- The candidate should enter the information requested to complete the application form.
- The candidate should pay the application fee.
- Once the candidate has completed the application, the candidate should take a printout of the application form for future reference.
