Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is initiating recruitment for various posts in Civil Services and Administrative Services. As the commission has completed the application process, applicants are eagerly waiting for the conductance of the written exam. In the furtherance of GPSC Civil Service Recruitment, the officials will release the GPSC Civil Services Call Letter soon.
The official notification for these vacancies was released on 21 August 2023. The Department is going to fill a total of 293 posts for various mentioned vacancies in the advertisement. Eligible candidates could apply online up to 08 September 2023. The department has also announced the tentative date for the examination which is scheduled to be conducted on 03 December 2023.
GPSC Civil Service Call Letter will be available for download a few days before the date of the exam. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official web portal of the commission at gpsc.gujarat.gov.in. For GPSC Civil Service Vacancies, the candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Interview and marks scored in both exams i.e. Prelims and Mains. It is compulsory for each candidate to appear in the exam and must qualify for the exam to be eligible to take part in the next stage of the recruitment process. In the first stage, the department will conduct a preliminary examination. Those who qualify for the prelims will be shortlisted for the mains and in last qualified candidates have to undergo an interview.
Gujarat Civil & Administrative Services Exam Pattern
GPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam will include two papers of 200 marks each. The prelims will carry a total of 400 marks. The candidates will get 180 minutes for each paper to complete the exam. It is only qualifying in nature. The applicants who qualify for this exam will be called for the main exam. Marks scored in the prelims will not be counted while preparing the final merit list.
