Let us begin by informing you that there were approximately 32 lakh 44 thousand students who applied for the CTET 2022 exam, and there were approximately 9 lakh 50 thousand students who were successful. The results showed that 5 lahks 79 thousand 844 students were successful in the first paper and 3 lahks 76 thousand 25 students were successful in the second paper.

Each year, an average of only fifty percent of those who apply for the CTET are successful in passing the exam. In order to apply for the CTET, the applicant must have completed their 12th Class with a Diploma in Elementry Education for primary teachers while Graduation with Bachelor in Elementry Education for upper primary teachers.
CTET Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying scores for each category on the CTET exam are determined independently. Applicants from unreserved categories need to earn a score equivalent to sixty percent, or ninety marks out of a possible 150. On the other hand, the minimum score required to pass is predetermined for candidates from SC, ST, and OBC categories.

The CTET examination is done in an online format. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 follow a pattern that is nearly identical. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions, and each question is worth one mark.
There are a total of 150 questions. It is broken up into a total of five sections, which are as follows: Child Development and Teaching (30 questions worth 30 marks), Mathematics (30 questions worth 30 marks), Language 1 (30 questions worth 30 marks), Language 2 (30 questions worth 30 marks), and Environmental Studies (30 questions worth 30 marks).
There will be 30 questions, each worth one mark. The students have been allotted two hours and thirty minutes. Remember that there is no penalty for incorrect answers, so it is best to try all of the questions.
CTET 2023 Online Registration
CBSE conducts two papers for the CTET exam. The first paper is for those who want to teach from classes 1 to 5. Whereas the second paper is conducted for those who want to teach 6 to 8. At the same time, for candidates who want to teach primary and upper primary, it will be mandatory to appear in both paper 1 and paper 2. Keep in mind that without qualifying for the CTET exam, candidates cannot apply for the posts of teacher of Navodaya Vidyalaya and Kendriya Vidyalaya.
