A candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from any recognised university.
The maximum age limit for CRPF AC Vacancy 2022 is 35 years. The age relaxation of 5 years will be provided for SC and ST Candidates. The Cut off Date for calculation of the upper age limit according to the vacancy years is provided below:

Candidates will be selected for Assistant Commandant posts through the following selection criteria:
- Written Test: Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test.
- Interview and Personality Test.
CRPF Assistant Commandant Syllabus, Exam Pattern 2022
There will be three papers organized by CRPF in the first stage of the selection process.
Paper 1: Intelligence and GK Test: In this test, 100 MCQs for 100 marks will be asked. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. The topics are – General Awareness, Reasoning, Numeric Ability, General Intelligence, and Current Affairs.
Paper 2: Professional Skill Test: This test will also carry 100 multi-choice questions for 100 marks. The time limit to complete the test will be 2 hours.
Paper 3: Descriptive Type Test: This test includes (Essay, Precis Writing, and Comprehension for 100 marks. The duration will be 2 hours. The medium of the exam will be optional(Hindi or English).
Qualifying marks for each paper will be 45% and 50% in aggregate. 5% relaxation will be provided to SC and ST Category Students.
The result of paper 1 and Paper 2 will be announced within 2 working days and qualified candidates will be called for the PST and PET. While the result of paper III will be announced after conducting the Physical Test.
