Chandigarh Police Department recently completed the written exam for Police Constable Posts at various examination centres. The exam was conducted on 23 July 2023. The Department has released Chandigarh Police Constable Result on its official website at chandigarhpolice.gov.in

The Department advertised a recruitment notification on 20 May 2023. A total of 700 vacancies were released under this notification. Online applications were received from eligible candidates from 1 June to 26 June 2023. A large number of candidates appeared for the written examination conducted on 23 July 2023 and all the applicants are very excited for the Chandigarh Police Constable Results.

An Offline OMR-Based exam was conducted at the first stage of the selection process. There was a total of 100 MCQs asked in the exam. Questions were asked from General Knowledge, Numerical Ability & Reasoning. Each question carried 1 mark and there was also a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer given by the candidate. The duration of the exam was 90 minutes.

The selection of the candidates is purely based on the marks scored by the candidate in Written Exam. Other stages are only qualifying in nature. Now the department will release the Chandigarh Police Constable Results and shortlist the candidates for PMT & PET. After that medical examination will be scheduled for the qualified candidates also followed by a document verification. The selection of the candidate is said to be final only when the name of the candidate is included in the Final Merit List.
