The Chandigarh UT Administration recently released an advertisement for the recruitment of Junior Technicians (Electricians & Lift Operators). The selection authority is going to conduct a competitive examination for a total of 31 posts. As of now, there is no exam schedule for the test, we will update this article once the exam date is announced by the authority.

The commission will prepare various examination centres across the city to accommodate all candidates. If the number of candidates exceeded the capacity of Chandigarh UT Exam centres then it will also make exam centres in Haryana & Punjab too. The candidates will see the names of their respective exam centres on their admit cards.
Chandigarh Junior Technician Selection Process
- The paper will be conducted in Offline mode.
- There will be two sections in the paper.
- Applicants will get 03 hours to solve the paper.
- The total Marks or Questions will be 150.
- All questions will be MCQ type.
- Candidates of the General Category have to score 45% marks and candidates of the SC category have to score 40% marks in the written test.
- There will be a negative marking of .25 marks for wrong answers.
- There will be no interview in the examination.
- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks attained by candidates in the written examination.
