BGMI Banned in India, BGMI Ban in India Reason, BGMI BAN Hindi, BGMI Ban News Official: It has now been confirmed by a google spokesman that the very popular royal battle game, BGMI Battlegrounds Mobile India has been removed from the app store and google play store on the orders of the government. It has also been noted that there is no public broadcast of it before the final removal. There’s no information regarding if it is a temporary or permanent withdrawal.
BGMI is a new version of the famous Chinese game, PUBG Mobile, which was removed after the spread of COVID-19. Along with PUBG, the authorities banned several other Chinese apps in September 2020.
BGMI was launched by making several modifications and was established by South Korean-based Krafton in 2021. As there’s no clear evidence for the removal of the application, Krafton will have a meeting with IT Ministry to find a solution

There has been no official announcement by the IT authorities about the reason for the removal of BGMI. But there are numerous incidents in the past supporting this decision. There will be a conversation between the developer Krafton and the IT ministry regarding this to clarify the reason for withdrawal.
An incident has also been reported in June 2022, about a 16-year-old boy, who murdered his mother and tried to stop him from playing the game. NCPR also sent a warning to the IT Ministry regarding this to know why the app is open for teenagers.

After the ban on PUBG, Krafton released BGMI in 2021. The game gained huge attention and secured a position in the top 10 games on the play store. This month the Korean brand Krafton declared that it has more than 100 million registered users in India.

The inquiry regarding the incident of the child who murdered his mother and stopped him from playing the game is under process. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the union minister informed about the same. The minister said that it has been directed to the law agency and they are looking into the matter.
PRAHAR Urging the Government to Ban BGMI
Voice has also been raised by PRAHAR, a non-profit organization regarding the ban on this app in February 2022. It claimed that it is a hazard to the sovereignty and integrity of India. In today’s world, where data holds utmost importance, technology integrity is very significant. Immediate action should be taken if violated.
PRAHAR’s initiative was supported by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). This was in connection with the ban on all Chinese products by the Indian government. The NGO applauded the government on the decision to ban several Chinese apps.
What happens now?
It has not been confirmed if the removal is permanent or temporary. But for those who have it already installed and using the app, still can access it without any damage. Krafton has made it clear that PUBG New State is available on all app stores.
The Korean company will discuss the issue with the IT Ministry and will come to a conclusion. They will discuss the reason for removal, and the duration of removal. Further action will be taken by the company after the discussion.
