A total of 4374 vacancies are to be filled through this recruitment drive. The applications were started on 24 April 2023 and the last date to submit an application form was 22 May 2023.

Exam Pattern for BARC Technical Officers and Trainees
- For Technical Officers, Selection is completely based on the Interview. Computer-Based Test will only conduct to shortlist the candidates for Interviews.
- For Category I Trainees, the computer-based test will have 40 multi-choice questions of 3 marks each. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark. It is also conducted to shortlist the candidates for Interviews. Selection is purely based on Interviews.
- For Category II Trainees, the selection process is following:
- Preliminary Exam -The duration of the exam will be 1 hour and each question carries 3 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark. This test will include 20 questions from Mathematics, 20 questions from Science, and 10 questions from General Awareness
- Advanced Test-This test comprising of 50 questions carrying 3 marks each. The same rule of negative marking applies here. Candidates will shortlist for the Skill test on the basis of marks scored in the advanced test.
