Assam TET Notification 2023 – Check Assam Teacher Eligibility Test eligibility criteria and apply online applications at ssa.assam.gov.in portal.

The Department of Elementary Education has released Assam Teacher Eligibility Test Notification 2023, for Lower and Upper Primary Teachers. The department has invited applications from the candidates in online mode only. The registration process for Assam TET started on 5th March 2023.

This is an Eligibility Test for candidates who want to make their career in Teaching. The lower Primary examination is for the candidates who want to teach classes I to V and Upper Primary Examination is for classes VI to VIII.

The registration process for Assam TET will end on 25 March, so the candidates have to submit their applications on or before the last date. As the registration process will be over the department will conduct the written test for the same which will be held on 30 April.

The Department of Elementary Education, Assam conducts the Assam TET Examination every year. There will be two papers for Assam TET this year. Educational Qualification for Assam TET

Educational Qualification for both papers is different. The candidates can check the minimum educational qualification for both papers given below.

The candidates must have completed the minimum Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years of Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 years of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) or 2 years Diploma in Special Education or Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.).

The candidates must have passed their Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 4 years of Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). Or

Candidates should have completed their Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or Post Graduation and B.Ed.

How to Apply for Assam TET 2023?

1. First, visit the official portal of the Elementary Education Department i.e. ssa.assam.gov.in.
2. In the menu bar, select the option for Information & Services.
3. Now click on the link to the Teacher Eligibility Test.
4. Then select the link name “Click here to Apply Online”.
5. After that you will be redirected to a new page, click on the link of the Application Form here.
6. Now fill up your details and pay the application fee.
7. Recheck all the details and submit your application form.
8. Take a printout of it.
