The recruitment authority, State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) will examine the recruitment of  Assam Police Constable and Sub Inspector. The authorities have announced a total of 391 vacancies which includes 333 vacancies for Constable and 58 vacancies for Sub Inspector.

The candidates who had successfully submitted the applications for examination between 8th February 2023 till 22nd February 2023, must be waiting for the admit card release eagerly. The recruitment authority will release the Assam Police Admit Card on their official website soon. The information related to admit card/call letter release will be sent through SMS and email to the candidates on their mobile numbers and email addresses.

SLPRB Police Constable & Sub-Inspector Selection Procedure

The selection process will be completed in multiple phases for the respective post selected by candidates. The phases of examination are as mentioned below:

1. Application and Document Verification: The application and documents submitted by candidates will be verified and candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of the posts, and have appropriate documents will be promoted to the subsequent phase.
2. Preliminary Medical Check-up and Physical Standard Test (PST): The candidate will be checked by a medical officer for preliminary check-ups like knock knee, vision test, color blindness test, flat foot, varicose vein, physical deformities, etc. Post this they will undergo PST in which measurement of the height, weight, and chest (Chest measurement is only for males) of the candidates will be done using the latest technology. If the candidate is unable to qualify for this test, they won’t be able to appear in the next round.
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The candidate who qualified for PST will appear for PET. The candidate needs to clear different physical competitions like the long jump.
4. Skill Test: It will be conducted for a post requiring specific skills like driving etc.
5. Final Merit List: The merit list will be prepared based on the collective performance of the candidate in different tests.

For SI we have the Written Exam, Oral Viva exam, and special marks awarded for NCC candidates.

The Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted for 40 marks and marks will be awarded accordingly.

Steps to download Assam Police Constable Admit Card 2023

1. Visit the official website at slprbassam.in.
2. Click on “Admit Card Download Portal”.
3. Click on the link ” Assam Police Constable Admit Card 2023″, and the candidate will be directed to the login portal.
4. The candidate needs to enter the phone number/email id/application id used while applying along with the Date of Birth to log in.
5. Once logged in, verify the details on the admit card and take a printout of the same for future reference.
