The State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh has conducted the written examination for the Police Constable on 22 January 2023 and now will conduct the written test for Police Sub Inspector Vacancies on 19th February 2023. Andhra Pradesh SI Selection Process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Preliminary Written Examination, Physical Measurement & Efficiency Test and Main Written Examination. All selection process phases are compulsory for candidates to pass. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the Mains written exam.

Preliminary Written Examination
- The examination will be organized for a total of 200 marks.
- The examination will be conducted for 03 hours duration.
- Candidates will get a 01 mark for each correct answer.
- There will be questions from English, Arithmetic, Test of Reasoning and Mental Ability, General Science, History of India, Indian culture, and Indian National Movement, Indian Geography, Polity and Economy, and Current events of national and international importance.

Main Written Examination
The syllabus for the Main written examination will be the same as it was for the Prelims examination.
Preliminary Written Examination
The examination will consist of two papers of 03 hours each. There will be 100 questions in each paper and candidates will get 01 mark for each correct answer.

Main Written Examination
All those candidates who will pass the written examination and physical test will be then called to appear for the Final written examination. This test will consist of four papers. The marks of each paper will be different for both postcodes. All papers will be of degree level.

Qualifying Marks – The candidates who are going to appear in any of the above-written examinations, then they will have to score a certain amount of marks to move to the next phase of the selection process.
All those candidates who belong to General Category will have to get at least 40% marks. While those candidates who belong to BC & SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen will have to score 35% and 30% respectively.
