- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- The validity for One Time Password is for 2 days.
- You have to visit the ATM branch of SBI and then select the option named PIN Change.
- Enter the OTP and now you can set a new pin.
How to Activate SBI Debit Card Through a Toll-Free Number?
Customers can also activate the debit card by calling on the SBI Toll-Free number. If you have registered your mobile number then you can follow these steps:
- Call the given numbers – 1800 425 3800, 1800 1122 11. from your registered mobile number.
- Then press 1 in order to generate a debit card PIN.
- After that, you have to enter the last five digits of your debit card and the last five digits of your account number.
- State Bank of India will send the One Time Password (OTP) to your registered mobile number.
- One Time PIN will be valid for 2 days.

- Swipe Debit Card into ATM Machine.
- Then choose “PIN Generation“.
- Now enter the 11-digit account number.
- Then you have to enter the registered mobile number.
- A Temporary Password will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Then again insert the Debit Card into the ATM.
- Now select “PIN Change”.
- Enter the OTP received on your mobile and then set a new SBI Debit Card PIN.

- Swipe the new debit card into the ATM.
- Then choose “PIN Generation“.
- Enter the 11-digit account number.
- Now enter your registered mobile number.
- Select the confirm option.
- 4 digits temporary SBI ATM PIN will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- The Temporary Password will be valid for the next 48 hours.
- Again swipe the debit card and select “Banking“.
- Then choose “PIN Change“.

If you are an SBI Net Banking user then you can follow these steps in order to Activate SBI Debit Card:
- Visit the official website of SBI@retail.onlinesbi.com
- Then choose ATM Card Services from the e-services section.
- Now login with a profile password or PIN.
- Choose the account linked with the debit card.
- Select the debit card for which you are creating a new PIN.
- Enter the first 2 digits of the PIN and the last two digits of the PIN will send to the registered mobile number.
- Now enter the 4 digits and then select “confirm“.
- Now you will be able to set a new PIN of the SBI Debit Card.
