Steps Taken For Quality Improvement During 2004-05

	The state govt. and SSA Rajya Mission have taken the following action for improvement of quality of education in the elementary stage.
	Massive teacher training programme.
	Engagement of Vikramshila Education Resource Society for quality improvement
	Convergence with Social Welfare and Social Education Department for automatic enrolment of children from ICDS centres to primary schools.
	Incentive for schools making good performance
	Incentive for villages having no dropout
	Incentive for villages having no out-of-school children
	Incentive for teachers who provide individual care to children
	Introduction of remedial coaching before the start of school and after school hours
	Introduction of computer-aided learning in selected schools.
